Where is this?
Mount Rainier is located in Western Washington State,
approximately 60 miles (96 km) Southeast of Seattle. The highest
point, Columbia Crest, is 14,410 feet (4,390 meters) above sea
level. it is the highest mountain in the state of Washington, the
most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous US, and
the tallest in the Cascade Volcanic Arc.
Mount Rainier
is also a historic city in Maryland that borders Washington DC,
named after this mountain.
